Very Solid game, The end of it really caught me off guard. It had such an unsettling environment even if it didn't have the portraits on top of it already. Good Job!.

Thanks for playing and the video!

Great Indie Horror Game and story line. I love the pixelation and the creepy atmosphere.

Thanks!

This game is so creepy!!! I feel like I was actually at the Airbnb in IRL, lol. I was sprinting so fast towards the exit door, towards the end of the gameplay!!! 10/10. Also, is there a secret behind the locked door in the basement?

Hey, thanks a lot for playing. There is no way to get into the basement nor anything that explicitly tells you what was in there and I leave it up to your interpretation (although I did have concrete idea of what is there). I looked at the end of your video and I will say at the least you would be in for a suprise if you went to the basement or bathroom in the morning.

With the new patch released today, there is now a way to get into the basement

Mc too tired to see all the red flags. It was cool experiencing a creepy pasta through a game and it was a nice experience well sometime i feel like the door frame trying to trap me. A fun time.

Thank you for playing! Yeah, player hitbox is a little big and can get caught on doorframes, tried to balance it to keep player from being able to clip into objects with camera but could definitely be improved

This was not bad, can definitely tell it was inspired by the creepypasta. Love the slow progression as you investigate and do some normal tasks. Made a video on it.

Thanks for playing! The portraits were drawn by my friends, AI was just used for the background for the intro and the ending scene (if you escape).

scary

Thanks for playing!

this was super creepy! alot of games use cheap jump scares to scare the player, but this was just so creepy that it didnt need a jump scare! good job. really enjoyed.

Thanks for playing! Good video!

Insanely creepy and brilliant!

The true essence of horror is patiently waiting to strike with fear and anxiety at the right moment - this game absolutely got strong foundation. The storytelling from the beginning was quite cheesy, not gonna lie, but the execution and that ending was perfect. I really enjoyed my time with this game. Had no major issues, it sounded well and looked well, not to say the portraits were deeply staring at my soul.

Fantastic job on your game. Best of luck in the future. Cheers!

Hey, thank you very much for your comment! To me, creepypastas are kind of like campfire stories where they are very silly and cheesy, so I definitely was trying to emulate that with some of the silliness in this project, while still trying to make it rather scary, so I'm very glad to hear that came across!

Thanks again for playing, and if you're interested in a more gameplay-focused horror game I made consider checking out Atama, it is on discount on Steam right now!

I agree. It was definitely superb.

I might check it out, sure. Cheers!

I love the usage of this creepypasta to base your game on. The environment was honestly very scary and made me feel uncomfortable the whole time! Really fun.

Thanks for the video and comment!
